Animal-perception XR on Vision Pro
vPercept is a team project that aims to let people experience the world through animals on Apple Vision Pro. We modelled the vision/hearing traits of a cat, dog, mouse, squirrel and parrot through literature review and turned them into educational scenarios. Scene compositions, audio filters and contrast/color/depth-of-field variations were designed for the experience flow. A CoreML + visionOS integration plan defined data needs and performance constraints. Prototypes were evaluated with user tests focusing on task flow and accessibility. The result is an engaging XR prototype that makes perceptual differences understandable and teachable.
