Deakademi – Brand Identity

Deakademi is a private education institution in Düzce for middle-school and LGS (high-school entrance exam) students, built around coaching and progress tracking. I created its entire visual world from scratch: from the logo to the building facade, from door signs to file spines, from social media posts to ad creatives, everything runs on one design language. I started with the logo. After a series of simplified logo studies with ideas such as a pen nib, a paper clip, an open book and a rising sun, I settled on a mark made of a red form above branching navy lines. The studies are in the gallery; the final logo is the plain “deakademi” wordmark with the icon, and it is also ready as a vector (SVG). A pattern derived from the same mark and a red-navy-white checkerboard became the shared signature across all of the institution’s surfaces. Outdoors I designed a checkerboard facade cladding with a logo panel for the building, window graphics and vertical banners. Indoors I prepared 13 door signs (principal, guidance office, teachers’ room, classrooms) that follow the size and layout rules of the Ministry of National Education (MEB) guideline, plus a title-sign set in the same language; for the Atatürk corner I arranged three panels, the Independence March, the Address to the Youth and a portrait, in harmony with the brand. On the stationery side I produced print-ready, dimensioned templates for letterheads, lined and grid notepads, window envelopes, a folder cover, note paper, a box and a bookmark, and even designed the spines of the incoming mail, outgoing mail, payroll and contract files. For internal communication I made WhatsApp profile images for every class from grade 5 to 8 (A, B, C), colour-coded by grade, plus a “Farkınız NET olsun!” (“Make your difference clear!”) backdrop and presentation background. Digitally, I produced eight posts and a short video for the institution’s Instagram account, explaining topics such as the study programme, the new-generation education model and early registration in the same colour and icon language, and I also ran the ad management.
